Westsun Energy was engaged to deliver a large-scale solar and battery energy storage solution for the new PTA Bellevue Railcar Facility, supporting one of Western Australia’s major transport infrastructure projects.

The 180-metre railcar manufacturing and maintenance facility is the birthplace of Perth’s locally built C-series trains and forms an important part of WA’s rail manufacturing infrastructure.

The renewable energy system combines 416kW of solar generation with 482kWh of battery storage, integrating technologies from Jinko Solar, Fronius, EVO Power and Clenergy.
